A story rooted in Oz 3300
For over 25 years, SEMD'OZ has been involved in the development and tourism of Oz-en-Oisans. A mixed economy company whose majority shareholder is the municipality of Oz, located in the heart of the resort, it notably manages a group of chalets located in the Pré Genty sector, a few steps from the ski lifts and the heart of the pedestrian resort of Oz 3300 (formerly the Olmet resort).
From the Chalets of Pré Genty to the Chalets of Oz
Long known as Chalets de Pré Genty, these accommodations are part of the Oz 3300 landscape. Nestled facing the Belledonne massif, they have welcomed families, groups and mountain lovers over the years, summer and winter.
The children have become parents and the parents have become grandparents, … and yet some families are still here for their annual mountain getaway after 20 years, this wonderful resilience shows the attachment of our customers to our chalets and our resort.
Today, a new chapter begins. The Chalets de Pré Genty become Les Chalets d'Oz, a simpler and stronger identity, which affirms a belonging to the resort and accompanies a new ambition for these accommodations.
Preserve the spirit, evolve the experience
This new identity marks the beginning of a broader transformation: a program of progressive chalet renovation. The investment, undertaken by the municipality of Oz with project management support from SEMDOZ, aims to modernize all accommodations over the next four years, improve their comfort, and meet the evolving expectations of travelers, while preserving their defining characteristics: the warm atmosphere of a mountain chalet, the spaciousness, the proximity to nature, and the exceptional views of the mountain peaks.
Adapting means evolving, discover soon and from winter 2026-278 the new services, home chef and catering, comfort services, various options.
With this in mind, our brand new website aims to immerse you in this new world with a decidedly modern approach focused on our Oz-Alpe d'Huez area, while preserving the destination's mountain and nature-filled DNA. Our new logo reflects this spirit.
